Format: lectures, in-class labs, assignments, CTF-style blockchain security tasks, and exams.

This course introduces blockchain technologies through hands-on work across several ecosystems: Ethereum Sepolia, Polkadot/Westend, Asset Hub, and TON Testnet.

Course focus

  • Cryptographic foundations: hash functions, Merkle trees, signatures.
  • Consensus: PoW, PoS, NPoS, BFT, forks.
  • Ethereum and EVM: wallets, transactions, gas, ERC20, ERC721/ERC1155, Uniswap.
  • Smart contract security: Ethernaut and HackTON CTF tasks.
  • Polkadot: Relay Chain, parachains, Asset Hub, XCM.
  • TON: wallets, cells, messages, jettons, STON.fi.
  • DeFi: AMMs, liquidity provision, fees, impermanent loss.
